The IEEE International Symposium on Computer Arithmetic (ARITH) has been the premier conference for computer arithmetic since 1969.

This conference brings together researchers and practitioners to discuss the latest advancements in computer arithmetic, a field integral to innovations in artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, signal processing, and security.

The 33rd edition of the symposium, ARITH 2026, will be held in Fulda, Germany, with in-person attendance and presentation of research results and keynote talks.

Registration

Registration is mandatory and open at https://arith2026.org/registration.html

Tutorial Day

This year ARITH includes a special Tutorial Day before the conference on Saturday, June 27.

The goal of this day is to give an introduction to several computer arithmetic topics to young researchers.

The tutorial day is free of charge for registered ARITH attendees.

The preliminary program is available on the conference website at  https://arith2026.org/tutorial_day.html

Keynote Speakers

This year we are delighted to announce two keynotes:

  • “Mixed-precision Computing: High Accuracy With Low Precision”
from Erin Carson, Charles University, Praha, Czech Republic
  • “The Table Maker’s Dilemma and Correctly-Rounded Functions: A Quick Review of 25 Years of Work”
from Jean-Michel Muller, CNRS Emeritus, Laboratoire LIP, Author of the books “Elementary Functions, algorithms and implementation” and lead-author of the “Handbook of floating-point arithmetic
